Well the winter days are definitely setting in. Especially today, I just can’t seem to warm up. Winter is definitely here. So bring on those cosy winter days, all rugged up…The great thing about Sydney is around this time of year, the weather can get cold and crisp, but we can still get those stunning blue sky days that seem to never end…. It makes the colder months a little more bearable.
So just like the winter blue skies cheering up the winter blues, my latest winter collection was designed to do the same. Adding bright leathers to brighten up any dark gloomy day. Who ever said you always have to leave the bright colours for summer and wear dull cloths and accessories in winter?
This latest winter collection consists of leather cuffs in a variety of leathers, fur and purple amethyst crystals. As well as long draping necklaces both made of silver and black metal mixed with turquoise and feathers. There’s something about winter and feathers that just goes together. Of course I have also added all the other intricate bips and bobs to form tassels and textured layers.
Ive always loved a good photoshoot, and slowly but surely more effort and detail are going into each one. I especially love the stick tepee which I made. With draping dream catchers, bone breast plate and feather crown. I feel these tyie in nicely with my jewellery which have always had that boho, natural earthy feel.
